Created 2006 ASI Cargo is a Latvia based (Baltic sea region) logistic service provider offering time-definite and cost effective logistical services.
2007 ASI Cargo was directly involved in organizing of supply chain in
territory of Latvia when providing services of general contractor Iberdrola (Spain) who worked with the
reconstruction Project of TEC-2 (thermal power plant) for the Stock Company Latvenergo. Our company dealt with complex tasks
connected with logistics of technological equipment and raw materials to site
of reconstruction project and carrying away of technological equipment after
reconstruction works.
In 2007/2008 a project of
modernizing and reconstruction of embassies was implemented by the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, in the framework of which ASI
CARGO performed delivery of security equipment for embassies and delivery of
tools and construction materials for specialists. After reconstruction our
company ensured repatriation of equipment from embassies back to Latvia.
Since 2007 the company has
established a cooperation with company Biofluidtech
UK (which is company dealing with bio-fuel raw material and technological
equipment for production of bio-fuel, as well as spare parts and maintenance
services), and our company ensured coordination of logistics for the raw
material (rapeseed oil, rapeseed, recycled oil) in territories of Europe and CIS
countries. ASI Cargo dealt also with
delivery of equipment for production of bio-diesel from and to such countries
as the United Kingdom, Australia, Ukraine, Spain, Greece, as well as ensuring
management of the raw material delivery chain (as 3PL service provider).
In 2008/2009 ASI Cargo obtained rights to coordinate
deliveries of materials necessary for construction of the project Riga Plazza (large shopping centre) from
Italy, Spain, Israel and China.
In 2009 an optimization of
numeral composition of diplomatic corps of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the Republic of Latvia and our company managed repatriation of inventory and
personal belongings of the diplomatic corps to Latvia.
